About
Welcome to Harry's Restaurant Westborough, a charming gem nestled at 149 Turnpike Rd, Westborough, MA. With a warm, nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of classic Cape Cod diners, Harry's is a beloved destination for both locals and travelers alike.
This inviting diner offers an array of delicious options that cater to all tastes. Imagine sinking your teeth into the homemade chicken tenders that have excited patrons for years, or savoring the clam chowder that many have hailed as exceptional. Seafood lovers will be delighted by the fresh scallops and renowned lobster rolls, generously filled and perfectly prepared.
What truly sets Harry's apart is the personable service. Many customers, like Amy Yazdani, appreciate the familiarity of the staff, making each visit feel like a homecoming. The crew's friendly demeanor enhances the dining experience, making guests feel welcome and cherished. Just be sure to bring cash, as Harry's operates on a cash-only basis—an old-school touch that adds to its charm.
Whether you're in for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert, there's something for everyone. The burgers are hearty, while the mac and cheese is praised for its simplicity. Don't forget to leave room for the decadent lava cake or the irresistible ice cream sundaes that Amy and others rave about.
Harry's Restaurant Westborough isn't just a place to eat; it's a culinary experience steeped in community, nostalgia, and vibrant flavors. I highly recommend visiting this diner to soak in its unique charm and delicious offerings. Come for the food, stay for the experience—and I promise, you'll find yourself longing to return.
“ Great old school diner, definitely can't wait to go back and try more food! The scallops are very very fresh and full of flavor! Mac and cheese is nice and simple and light. Tuna melt is a big sandwhich definitely worth the try. Only been there once and can't wait to go back to try more! The service can be a bit slow at times but that's OK. CASH only but they do have an ATM. Definitely reminded me of a cape cod style diner and seafood, get out there and try it! ”
“ Harry's has been a family fav for years. It is exactly what you want and expect of a diner (& they have a liquor license). We enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner & dessert here. The homemade chicken tenders are amazing, as are the homemade chips. Burgers, seafood, matzo ball soup, chowder, even the salads are good. Do not miss the sundaes! The staff have all been there for awhile and are so friendly and it is nice to be recognized when we come in. In the summer you can dine outside as well. ”
“ I was in the area from out of town. Had the Clam Chowder and a shrimp/scallop bake entree. Both were excellent. It’s a casual hole in the wall. Many locals there. I would definitely come back. Prices ranged from reasonable to very affordable. Server was great too. Be aware, it’s cash only. ”
“ LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!! So disappointed I am in town for only one night I would be going back again and again. This is another huge step back in time to say 1972. However the food quality is awesome, and the wait staff was a hoot. They did not want credit cards, I'm not even sure they take them. I had the clam chowder for an appetizer, and the lobster roll with butter for dinner which came with, coleslaw, onion rings, and fries. I can't do justice to the amount of crab claw was in this sandwich and the pictures don't do it justice. I ended the night with the pecan pie with ice-cream. ”
“ Harry’s in Westborough might just have the best country fried chicken around, but the food overall was equally outstanding. I went there with friends for a birthday celebration, and the service was some of the best I’ve experienced. Their lava cake was another memorable highlight, and we’ve already decided this is our new go-to spot. We’re so glad we found it! ”
“ Great tasting food. Big portions. Friendly staff! ”
“ As always fabulous food! I had a lobster roll filled with chunks of claw meat. The severs were working hard on this hectic father's day but were friendly, smiling, abd efficient. ”
“ As always, the service was excellent, and the fried good just delicious! We always get the bellies, scallops and rings. Update!! 2/18/24. Another birthday celebration and nothing has changed. The clams and rings get better and better. The waitstaff is always efficient and friendly no matter how busy. Again, the best seafood this side of the Bridge. UPDATE: 2/20/25 Wow, what happened to the clam bellies? My friend and I went there on the 18th, around 4pm, wasn't busy at all. I ordered the the big belly (clam) roll and there were some nice ones on the top but as I worked my way down they got smaller and smaller. It was like they threw some strips on the bottom and covered it up with some bellies. Didn't want to say anything at the time as it was a birthday lunch for me and didn't want to hurt my friend's feelings and we always go there for my birthday for years. As always the service and waitresses were awesome but the clams were very disappointing. Is it because it was off season? ”
